Team planning

What did we discuss?

In our team planning today we discussed the roles in which we will each do in order to produce the best preliminary video possible.
We also discussed who would take on each job in order for all areas of planning and production are covered

What were the outcomes/my responsibilities?

The outcomes were- I will arrange the costumes and props needed for all the characters in the production
Nina will arrange locations and we will arrange the actors together.

How well did I contribute to the team?

I believe that I contributed very well to the team as I put forward my ideas and I listened and respected the opinions of others

 
My screenplay- 
My screenplay is based upon a 'blind date'. There are five characters who run in and out of each other's lives and there is also a twist!
Peer assessment-
www: the format and layout of the screenplay has been developed correctly
www: the narrative follows an appropriate structure and is imaginative
www: all the aspects within the screenplay fulfil the brief
ebi: more detail was given about the characters (in particular the male)

Storyboard-

This is how we laid out our storyboard, we have included a diagram of how we intend for the shot to look, we have additionally numbered and named each shot along with a description of what is happening within the shot.
























Shot list-

We produced a shot log of all the video clips that we had produced in order for us to see quickly which ones were suitable when we were editing the video and putting it together. I found this extremely helpful as it saved me a lot of time and ensured that I included the best videos possible.









Filming-

Last night (06/09/13) myself and Nina filmed our video for the blind date. We additionally used 3 other actors to help us.

What was I responsible for?

I was responsible for making sure that everyone knew what lines they had to say and knew what they were doing, I was an actress within the film so I co-operated well in doing this.

How well did I contribute?

I feel as though I have contributed very well in this production as I was one of the main characters in the film and I also made sure everyone knew what they were doing allowing the filming process to run smoothly and efficiently.

Evidence during filming-


 




The first picture shows myself and Becky (playing Dan) practising the scene in the restaurant
The second picture shows Nina and I discussing what comes next in the script and what shot it needs to be
The last picture shows the highlighted script- giving us an indication of what we needed to do.


Editing-

We used Premiere in order to edit our videos, during editing I managed to take some screenshots as evidence that I edited my video personally

This shows me cropping/zooming into one of my video clips before adding it to the sequence


This shows me adding a fade to black at the end of the video sequence


This shows that I have included text into the video; it also allows you to see how I did it
